![]() ![]() ![]() I followed your steps exactly as instructed, and I was careful to make sure I rebooted my system after every uninstall and every reinstall of the C packages, and I don't think it worked.Electronic Arts Home Page - Official EA Site EA Play FIFA 23 F1™ 22 Madden NFL 23 Apex Legends Battlefield™ 2042 The Sims 4 All previous repairs have finished without a hitch so I'm not sure why this is just hanging or if I should disturb it or not? This is actually the very first time that this has happened during my long string of troubleshooting. I haven't been able to test the game yet, because the Repair in the last step is just hanging at the final "preparing" stage and not doing anything. Microsoft Visual C 2017 Redistributable Packages (x86 and 圆4) Versions: 2 Microsoft Visual C 2015 Redistributable Packages (x86 and 圆4) Versions: 3 I am on Windows 10 Home Premium 圆4, fully updated. I also posted a systeminfo render just in case that might give you some helpful info as well. I'm wondering if there is a very specific version of 20 that can only run together side-by-side? Here are my versions listed below (latest versions I could find online) and the DxDiag file you requested is attached. What it looks like is happening now, is that the specific version of 2017 I'm installing is auto-removing the 2015 versions during its installation process, which definitely shouldn't be happening. I was able to successfully install the 2015 redistributables and reboot, but as soon as I installed the 2017 versions and rebooted, the 2015 versions disappeared from my All Programs list in the control panel again. I did make sure that I did full system reboots in between every uninstall and every reinstall of the packages. ![]() I followed your instructions, exactly, and it still didn't work. I double checked the version number 2015 and it is the latest version, so I don't know how my system thinks that I have a later version installed, but does anybody know of a way to fix this? I think in my case, the issue is with C 2015 and my system, but I'm not sure how to fix it since it doesn't show up in control panel and I am unable to manually install the latest versions. So, I did the obvious and went to Microsofts official download center, located the latest version of the 2015 C package (both x86 and 圆4 versions) and tried to install them, BUT, they failed, saying that a newer version is already installed on the system, which would only be C 2017 which is absolutely required in order for Origin itself to work. I tried manually installing the Microsoft 2015 package because it doesn't even show up in my list of installed programs at all from within control panel, even though the game installed the older version. īut there is one thing I'm noticing that I think may be causing the issue, and it is in regards to the Microsoft Visual C 2015 Redistributable package. See my post on this different topic thread on the issue. I've been trying to get my ME:A game to work for over a week now and have literally done pretty much everything that can possibly be done. I paste below what I get in the reliability monitor.įaulting Application Path: E:\GAMES\Origin Games\Mass Effect Andromeda\MassEffectAndromeda.exeĪpplication Name: MassEffectAndromeda.exeĪdditional Information 2: 1dc22fb1de37d348f27e54dbb5278e7dĪdditional Information 4: eae36a4b5ffb27c9d33117f4125a75c2 I was playing the patched 1.1 ME Andromeda just fine till February this year. I would welcome any other ideas because now I am really convinced that some Origin update messed this up. So I spent a few hours yesterday trying various things like deleting MEA.exe and repairing through Origin(again), disabling the antivirus, running in admin mode of all involved exe's, clearing cache of Origin, going beta with Origin, launching offline, waiting. But basically more info will be needed if you wish us to try and help you. You may also try disabling your Anti-virus and seeing if the game runs. I assume this is on Computer since you say task manager, so a Dx Diag may help out. ![]()
